Patentopia is an AI-powered patent intelligence platform that helps patent professionals conduct prior art searches and patentability assessments. By using our service, you agree to these terms.
User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when using the service, to keep your account credentials secure, and not to misuse the platform. Misuse includes attempting to reverse-engineer the service, using it for unlawful purposes, or submitting content that infringes on the rights of others.
AI Disclaimer
Patentopia uses artificial intelligence to generate analysis results. These results are informational only and do not constitute legal advice. You should consult a qualified patent attorney or agent before making decisions based on any output from the platform.
Payment Terms
Patentopia operates on a credit-based system. Regular, Expert, Enterprise, and Whale are offered as single-payment credit bundles without automatic subscription renewal. Current one-time checkout purchase records are created without an automatic expiry date. Accounts with legacy credit lots may still reflect prior 12-month expiry logic until the separately controlled database change and ledger reconciliation are completed. Any account-specific validity or refund terms will be disclosed in writing before purchase. Pricing is subject to change, but completed purchases remain governed by the terms that applied when they were made.
Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of any content you submit to Patentopia, including patent claims and analysis inputs. Patentopia retains ownership of the platform, its technology, and any proprietary methods used to generate results.
Limitation of Liability
Patentopia is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patentopia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Patentopia operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
